Short Description:

Chitosan is a special fibre, which can bind five times its own weight in dietary fat before it is digested and excreted naturally. Thus, Chitosan significantly reduced amount of fat that’s absorbed by the body.

Chitosan is enriched with Vitamin C for better functionality.

What can I expect from Chitosan?

Chitosan is an effective fibre, creating a deficit in energy balance thus supporting weight loss. Chitosan temporarily irons out higher lipid intakes, but it cannot bind large amounts of fat over long periods of time. The overall effects depend on your eating habits and use of additional supplements (BCAAs, other fat burners).

To support the effect of Chitosan, adjust the amount of substrates you consume for your individual training and dietary goals and keep the daily intake of proteins as constant as possible.

Function and Impact:

Chitosan fibre is found in nature (mainly in fungi such as mushrooms or oysters) and crab shells. The special fibre can bind dietary fat five times its own weight. Then it is excreted with the bound undigested fat. Even small amounts of Chitosan can keep large amount of dietary fat out of the intestine.

Reduced fat intake leads to reduced calorie intake. It supports energy deficit (balance between calories consumed and calories used up) which is a prerequisite for weight loss. Moreover, falling short o your dietary goals becomes less likely.

Chitosan “lubricates” the bowel, improving bowel function and body control.
