DESCRIPTION
Pyruvate is a sports supplement based on the substrate of the same name, which forms a component of energy production in the citric acid cycle and is supplemented in sports nutrition, especially in the context of a low-carbohydrate diet.
To improve this functionality, pyruvate is optimized with alpha lipoic acid (ALA), the minerals chromium, calcium and manganese as well as a vitamin B complex.
What can I expect from Pyruvate?
Pyruvate is often used in practice as a substitute for high-calorie energy sources, especially carbohydrates, during a diet. If you also follow a low-carb diet or supplement pyruvate with sufficient carbohydrates and fat (no diet) in addition to a healthy diet, you can ensure that this central intermediate product of the cancer cycle is available in sufficient quantities for energy production.
The micronutrients added to this pyruvate formula in turn help your energy metabolism function normally, reduce fatigue and normalize your blood sugar levels.
