Short description of Curcumin Pro
Curcumin Pro provides a highly concentrated 50:1 turmeric extract with the active ingredient curcumin, which is known as a natural antioxidant. In order to optimize the bioavailability of curcumin, Curcumin Pro has also been enhanced with the "Bioenhancer" piperine. In addition the synergy substrate choline is contained, whereby among other things a normal liver function is supported demonstrably. As a result, Curcumin Pro is a highly bioavailable and particularly functional liver support supplement.

Turmeric is a ginger plant from South Asia which contains the natural curcuminoid curcumin as active ingredient. Curcumin has been extensively examined in scientific studies for its health benefits and has been a component of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Curcumin belongs to the natural antioxidants, which as radical scavengers are able to protect body cells from oxidation. Because of its supposed antioxidant properties, curcumin has aroused the interest of Western scientists, especially in the field of liver health. Among other things, curcumin is regularly discussed in promising studies dealing with the prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (fatty liver). Curcumin Pro from Peak provides a potent amount of 475 mg of curcumin per serving as an active ingredient and is therefore very popular with health-conscious people.
One problem with curcumin is that in its pure form it is very difficult for the human organism to absorb. In order to prevent only a small fraction of the active ingredient curcumin being absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, Peak Curcumin Pro also contains piperine from black pepper extract. This is because piperine as a so-called "bioenhancer" is able to significantly improve the bioavailability and thus the absorption of curcumin.
In addition, Curcumin Pro has been supplemented with the synergy substrate choline, which has been proven to be able to support normal liver function. In addition, the choline contained in Curcumin Pro also contributes to a regular fat metabolism. The minimum amount for these two scientifically proven effects is 82.5 mg per serving. This minimum amount is clearly exceeded in Peak Curcumin Pro with 166 mg per serving.
