Short description of Glucofast

Glucofast is a modern carbohydrate polymer made from corn starch, which can be used as an effective energy source in all sports (endurance sports, bodybuilding, team sports). In addition, the carbohydrates it contains have been shown to help restore normal muscle function (contraction) after an intensive or prolonged training session.*

What can I expect from Glucofast?

Glucofast is a carbohydrate supplement that provides you with large amounts of energy in a neutral taste, making it ideal for supplying energy before and during training. Taken after an intense workout, it also helps to replenish your muscle glycogen stores*.

By adding Glucofast to supplements (creatine, free amino acids, protein) you can increase their effectiveness. Here too, training times (e.g. post-workout shake) are particularly useful. If you consume Glucofast before sumptuous meals, you may gain weight.

However, muscle build-up can only take place overall if the amino acid intake is sufficient and as constant as possible, which is not guaranteed by Glucofast. You should therefore also provide yourself with fast (especially in the morning after getting up, before and after training) and slow proteins.

Functionality and mode of action of Glucofast

Glucofast is a medium molecular weight carbohydrate polymer. It is hydrolysed from corn starch and is one of the maltodextrins. The product has a glycemic index of GI 115, making it a readily available source of energy.

In addition, the carbohydrates contained in Glucofast ensure that normal muscle function or contraction is restored after intensive and/or prolonged training that has caused muscle fatigue and exhausted muscle glycogen stores.*

The low osmolarity of 100 mOsm/kg sol. of Glucofast - unlike dextrose, for example - makes it possible to absorb large quantities. These functionalities make Glucofast an elementary component of post-workout care in strength, bodybuilding and endurance sports.

For better effectiveness, Glucofast is optimised with a vitamin complex of 10 vitamins, which act as regulators in the organism and have a variety of benefits. Their properties in terms of supporting normal energy metabolism and reducing fatigue and tiredness should be emphasised.

Carbohydrates have been shown to contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) in so far as they are supplied after intense and/or long-term physical activity that has led to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in the skeletal muscles. This effect occurs when 4 g carbohydrates per kg/body weight are taken within the first 4 to max. 6 hours after the mentioned load.

Recommended dosage	Add 50 g of Glucofast (approx. 5 tablespoons / approx. 2 scoops) to 250 ml (8.5 oz) of water or juice and drink it before, during or after exercise. Depending on your individual needs you may increase or decrease the dosage..
